Energy Literacy for Youth - Project_Logo2

ELY aims to empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to address environmental challenges through a comprehensive environmental literacy program. The initiative integrates hands-on learning experiences, such as community clean-ups, tree planting, and water conservation projects, with classroom-based education on topics like climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable living.

Energy Literacy for Youth - Project_Logo2

By partnering with migrant organisations, local environmental organizations, and youth groups, the project creates a dynamic learning environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation. The program emphasises the importance of environmental justice, teaching students how marginalized communities are disproportionately affected by environmental issues. Through workshops, mentorship, and digital resources, the project equips youth to become advocates for sustainability in their communities, fostering a generation of environmentally conscious leaders who can drive meaningful change.
