Welcome to MigLAB
MigLAB gUG organises, educates and agitates for labor solidarity, support of migrant communities, and social equality. We employ inclusive cutting-edge research and education for communities on the front lines of the struggle for social, labor, migration and environmental justice. As researchers, educators and organisers we are passionate and convinced that transformational global change can be achieved through collaborative education and research.
Solidarity in Labour, Migration and Development
With activities such as trainings and conferences, MigLAB gUG aims to promote equality between women and men, an international mindset, tolerance in all areas of culture, and international understanding. MigLAB works with educational institutions, trade unions and development organisations to address social inequality in the context of work, migration and environmental justice. Discrimination, all forms of classism and racism, is deconstructed and dismantled with the aim to create an open, democratic and sustainable society.
MigLAB has three managing directors, each in charge of their own department: Migration, Labour and Development.
